When I was working in Government, I once wrote that I was African on a form, only to have my selection scratched out and replaced with "white". Ouch, that hurt!
Turns out, I am an African, at least Xolela Mangcu is prepared to stick his neck out and argue my cause. I think I'm in love..... (smile)

I spent the whole of Saturday learning the art of hard selling. A local company has created a brilliant hair clip, called an African Butterfly and I bought one a while ago. It's such a simple product but you have to get people to try it to see how well it works. That's the bitch, persuading people to stop for a demo.
Anyway, this little librarian managed to sell 10 in a shopping mall in Tshwane on Saturday! Not bad for someone whose husband reckoned she'd be lucky to sell one! I wonder if the women in Prague will buy them?
